Full week of NCAA DI and DII action kicks off on Labor Day

Collegiate action continues this week, with matches featuring Top College Prospects every day from Monday to Thursday.

Here are a few must-see matchups this week, with a full list of the Top Prospects in action below.

Three Matches to Watch

GEORGETOWN (1-1-0, BIG EAST) VS. STANFORD (0-0-1, PAC-12)

Monday, Sep. 3 - 1 p.m. ET - Watch Live

A massive cross-country showdown features early on Labor Day, as Georgetown welcomes defending national champions Stanford to town at 1 p.m. ET.

The Cardinal have been known in recent years for a stout defense that has guided them to repeated national success - ending the past three seasons as the nation's best team. Running at that defense will be forward Ifunanyachi Achara for Georgetown, who led Black Rock FC to the playoffs during the 2018 PDL season.

MARYLAND (0-1-0, BIG TEN) VS. VIRGINIA (1-0-0, ACC)

Monday, Sep. 3 - 7 p.m. ET - Tickets

Powers from what are arguably the nation's top men's college soccer conferences clash later on Labor Day with the Big Ten's Maryland hosting the ACC's Virginia.

While the Cavaliers are a team typically known for their stout defense, the Terrapins will also hope to be solid in the back - and particularly in net, where New York Red Bulls U23 goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair features.

KENTUCKY (1-0-0, SEC) VS. LOUISVILLE (2-0-0, ACC)

Tuesday, Sep. 4 - 7:30 p.m. ET - Watch

Ann all-Kentucky clash features on Tuesday evening, as the Wildcats host the Louisville Cardinals in an ACC-SEC showdown.

Kentucky will have their hands full with a regular ACC contender in Louisville. Two Louisville forwards will seek to break through the Wildcats defense in FC Tucson's Tate Schmitt and the Des Moines Menace's Kino Ryosuke - who has shined in the early season. Joining those two is Reading United AC defender Lamine Conte in the back for the Cardinals.
