FC Tucson continues its push for a playoff this Saturday as the club hosts the Richmond Kickers. The match is the first of the club’s final four home matches of the season.
Last Friday, FC Tucson fell to Greenville Triumph SC 4-0 at Legacy Early College, to finish its road slate for the 2019 regular season. The club is currently five points out of the fourth and final spot for the USL League one playoffs. FC Tucson also has a game in hand on the three clubs ahead of it.
In the team’s first meeting against Richmond Kickers on May 11th, FC Tucson fell 2-0 in Richmond. But FC Tucson earned a point in their last meeting against the Kickers, a scoreless draw on June 8th at Kino North Stadium.
Richmond Kickers enters the match following a 1-0 loss to Forward Madison SC. Richmond currently sits in ninth place with a record of 8-12-4 with 28 points.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
