The goals continued to flow for FC Tucson at Kino North Stadium on Saturday night and goalkeeper Casper Mols and the defense picked up another shutout as the Men in Black defeated playoff rival Redlands FC 3-0.
The win, FC Tucson’s fourth straight, moved the club above Redlands into second place in the USL Two’s Southwest Division. FC Tucson has one game remaining and Redlands FC has two.
Adrian Camacho started the scoring when his rocket right-footer bulged the net from 20 yards in the 12th minute.
Jose Contell, who had a hat trick in FC Tucson’s last match, added a goal in the 23rd minute after shedding a defender.
Just six minutes later, Carlos Armendariz made it 3-0 after getting a pass from Contell.
FC Tucson will wrap up the regular season on July 15 when they host Arizona Arsenal at Kino North Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Men in Black will play an exhibition against Coronado AC at Mica Mountain High School on July 11 with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
