FC Tucson aims to raise $10K for local schools at next home match

Partnering with local schools for a massive fundraising campaign during the Aug. 7 match at Kino Sports Complex

TUCSON, Ariz. –– As Tucson-area schools return to the classroom, FC Tucson returns to the pitch next Saturday with sights set on a victory for local teachers. The August 7 match vs North Texas SC is Teacher Appreciation Night, with schools able to claim up to 25% of Saturday’s ticket revenue.

“We felt like it was important to honor teachers after a year and half of tumultuous times,” said Amanda Powers, president of FC Tucson. “We’re excited to provide a safe and fun way to regather and share in the joy of the beautiful game. We hope Saturday’s match is a victory for teachers, for schools, for students, and for our guys on the pitch.”  

Partner schools will receive a special ticket link where $5 from every $15 ticket sold will be returned to the school.
