A goal by Shak Adams in the 43rd minute draw FC Tucson even. It was Adams’ fourth goal in the last three games. He has seven on the season.

Daniel Bedoya, who assisted on Adams’ goal, scored the game winner on a free kick just four minutes into the second half. It was Bedoya’s third goal.

Bedoya’s opportunity was set up when he was fouled just outside the box. Bedoya knocked the free kick over the wall and into the upper right corner of the net.

Tucson (7-8-4, 25 points) jumped above the playoff cutline (sixth). It is among six teams with 25 points, including third-place Fort Lauderdale CF. New England is 7-8-3 (24 points) and its previous last loss had been on July 17, when it lost 4-0 to FC Tucson at Kino North Stadium.
