In pouring rain, FC Tucson overcame an early deficit to beat New England Revolution II, 1-0, Wednesday evening at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The club’s third straight win moved it from 11th to fourth in the USL League One.

A goal by Shak Adams in the 43rd minute draw FC Tucson even. It was Adams’ fourth goal in the last three games. He has seven on the season.
Daniel Bedoya, who assisted on Adams’ goal, scored the game winner on a free kick just four minutes into the second half. It was Bedoya’s third goal.
Bedoya’s opportunity was set up when he was fouled just outside the box. Bedoya knocked the free kick over the wall and into the upper right corner of the net.
Tucson (7-8-4, 25 points) jumped above the playoff cutline (sixth). It is among six teams with 25 points, including third-place Fort Lauderdale CF. New England is 7-8-3 (24 points) and its previous last loss had been on July 17, when it lost 4-0 to FC Tucson at Kino North Stadium.

Tucson will continue on the road Saturday versus another Major League Soccer reserve club, North Texas SC, at Global Life Park. Kickoff is 6 p.m., and the game will stream live on ESPN+.
