FC Tucson Announces 2026 Desert Showcase Presented by Visit Tucson
Sixteenth Consecutive Year of Professional Soccer Preseason in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. — FC Tucson is proud to announce the return of its annual preseason event, the 2026 Desert Showcase presented by Visit Tucson, marking the 16th consecutive year that professional soccer preseason will call Tucson home.
The 2026 Desert Showcase will once again bring elite professional soccer clubs to Southern Arizona as they prepare for their upcoming seasons. Participating clubs for the 2026 edition include Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Louisville City FC, New Mexico United, Vision FC, and Spokane Velocity FC.
Teams will train and compete in preseason friendly matches at the Home of FC Tucson, Kino Sports Complex, throughout late January and February 2026, utilizing Tucson’s world-class facilities, weather, and hospitality.
The highlight of this year’s Desert Showcase will be a ticketed preseason match on Sunday, February 8th at 12:00 PM at Kino North Stadium, featuring New Mexico United and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. The match provides fans an opportunity to experience high-level professional soccer in a competitive match environment as both clubs finalize preparations for the upcoming USL Championship season.
