TUCSON, Ariz. (Feb. 10, 2021) — FC Tucson announced today that the club has signed the USL Championship winger Kevin Rodriguez for its 2021 USL League One season, pending league and federation approval.
“Kevin brings a wealth of USL Championship experience to our club and we feel he will add so much to our attack this coming season,” said Head Coach John Galas. “He’s a terrific 1v1 player, and he’ll bring his creative, attacking flair to our team in 2021. We are all delighted to welcome him to the club and work with him this year.”
Rodriguez, 24, joins FC Tucson following two seasons with Rio Grande Valley FC Toros (RGV FC), where he started 24 matches, scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist. Prior to signing with RGV FC, Rodriguez was selected 75th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by Minnesota United FC.
