
TUCSON (February,21 2019) — FC Tucson announced today it had signed midfielder Jamael Cox for the 2019 USL League One season. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be released.
“I’m very fortunate to sign with FC Tucson for their first professional season. I’m looking forward to working with my teammates and getting to work with the staff.”
Cox brings a vast amount of professional experience to FC Tucson. He began his professional career back in 2013, signing with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League.
His career has included stints with Seattle Sounders FC U-23 of USL League Two as well as the Tacoma Stars of the Major Arena Soccer League.
With the addition of Cox, FC Tucson’s roster now stands at 17 players for the 2019 USL League One season.
