TUCSON, Ariz. (January 31, 2019) — FC Tucson announced today it had signed midfielder Raheem Somersall for the 2019 USL League One season. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be released.
Somersall, a native of Basseterre, St. Kitts, most recently played for Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL. He registered one assist in 15 appearances for the Eagles.
Prior to FGCU, Somersall spent three seasons at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. As a Mountaineer, he nabbed 49 starts in 51 career appearances.
Somersall is a member of the St. Kitts and Nevis National team. Over the past two seasons, he has recorded six career appearances for the Senior National Team. He has also represented his home country in the U-20 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.
With the addition of Somersall, FC Tucson’s roster now stands at six players for the 2019 USL League One season.
