
TUCSON (February,7 2019) — FC Tucson announced today it had signed international defender José Carlos Terrón for the 2019 USL League One season. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be released.
“It is a pleasure to be able to defend the Tucson jersey in its first year as a professional team. It’s a great sporting and personal experience for me and my family.”
Terrón most recently played for Sociedad Deportiva Barreda Balompié of the Tercera Division in Cantabria, Spain. In 31 appearances, he recorded three goals and six assists.
A native of Torrelavega, Spain, he also spent six years with FC Barcelona’s youth system.
Hoisting dual-citizenship in both Spain and France, Terrón was a member of the Spain U-17 and France U-18 Men’s National team.
With the addition of Terrón, FC Tucson’s roster now stands at 12 players for the 2019 USL League One season.
