(TUCSON) June 5, 2019 – FC Tucson announced today that it has acquired defender Lamar Batista on loan from Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Football Club. LAFC will retain the right to recall Batista at any point during the USL League One season.
Batista made two appearances earlier this season for Phoenix Rising.
Batista, 20, spent the previous two seasons with Portland Timbers 2 appearing in 44 matches across all competitions.
Batista is expected to be available for selection Saturday night when FC Tucson hosts Richmond Kickers. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Kino North Stadium.
