FC Tucson continues its push toward the playoffs this Friday when the club welcomes Lansing Ignite FC to Kino North Stadium for the final time this season.
Last Friday, FC Tucson defeated Chattanooga Red Wolves SC 1-0 to improve its overall record to 8-7-7 and 31 points, just one point out of the fourth and final playoff spot. The game-winning goal came in the 43rd minute when Jordan Jones scored his fifth goal of the season from the penalty spot. It was also the fourth consecutive match Jones tallied a goal.
Lansing Ignite FC comes into the match red hot, unbeaten in its last eight matches. In their last match, the club defeated North Texas SC 4-1, solidifying itself in second place in the table.
