FRISCO, Texas — Despite ending with nine players on the pitch, FC Tucson managed to secure a 0-0 draw on the road against North Texas SC at Globe Life Park.
Wallis Lapsley made five saves for FC Tucson, 2-3-3 in USL League One. None was bigger than his diving to his right to stymie Alex Bruce's penalty kick in the 41st minute.

Lapsley also denied a shot by Bruce in the 38th minute and turned away a header by North Texas fullback Kazu in the 50th minute.

Tucson's Noah Franke was sent off with a straight red in the 57th minute. Despite being down a man, Tucson dominated possession for extended stretches, eventually drawing a red card from North Texas' Jorge Imanol Almaguer in the 82nd minute.
But Tucson again went down a man when Tucson's Gio Calixtro received a second yellow card in added time.
Tucson, however, weathered the final minutes to preserve the draw.
North Texas dropped to 3-3-2.
FC Tucson will be back on the road Saturday, June 26, against league-leading Union Omaha at Werner Park (5 p.m.). The match will stream live on ESPN+
