Luz Duarte added to her single-season record, finishing with 12 goals. Duarte ended the campaign in top goal-scoring form, with eight goals in the last four matches.
Just a few minutes later Duarte struck again. She dribbled past five defenders from 30 yards out, evading two slide tackles at the edge of the box. Duarte blasted the shot into the near post giving Tucson the quick 2-0 lead.
In El Paso, Tucson started the game off quickly with a bad clearance by the Surf defense which found the foot of Duarte in the box. Duarte put the ball into the right side net of the goal, giving the young Surf goalkeeper no chance to save it.

Tucson struck the back of the net one more time in the second half with Haley Harris passing the ball to Sydney Lenhart at the top of the box.
Lenhart hit a perfect volley that smacked the bottom of the crossbar and fired straight down into the goal, sealing the undefeated season for FC Tucson.
El Paso finished 0-7-1.
