
FC Tucson looks to find its footing as the club plays its second match in as many weeks at Kino North Stadium.
The club will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Night presented by Pima County Superintendent’s Office. Raytheon Leaders in Education Awards have announced its 2022 finalists. Finalists Vanessa Hill, a REACH teacher for K-5 gifted students at Rio Vista Elementary School, and Christopher Ryan, a sixth-grade English Language Arts and GATE teacher at Dodge Magnet Middle School, will be honored prior to the game.
North Carolina FC makes its second trip to Arizona in USL League One history on May 7 as the two teams – who both have four points – look to secure a win and climb the table. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. (BUY TICKETS)
Tucson and North Carolina are just three points behind the five teams that are currently at the top with seven points.

North Carolina forward Garrett McLaughlin is a player to watch. He has scored three of the total four goals the team has scored this season. He also leads the team in shots with 10.
FC Tucson defenders Jacob Crull and Luca Mastrantonio will aim to continue their good run of form. Mastrantonio leads the team with 14 clearances, followed closely by Crull with 13.
Both have also netted goals this season with Crull heading his in to secure a draw against Forward Madison, and Mastrantonio heading his in to kick off the goalscoring trifecta that grabbed the win on the road to then-first placed Chattanooga Red Wolves.
FC Tucson heads on the road to Charlotte, North Carolina, in its next match on Sunday, May 15. The club will face off against league newcomer Charlotte Independence at American Legion Memorial Stadium at 3 p.m. Arizona time. Fans are invited out to Home Plate Marana, as the sports grill debuts as a FC Tucson Watch Party host.
