Tucson came from behind twice to win 3-2 in Chattanooga on April 23. Chattanooga opened the scoring in the first half, but FC Tucson defender Luca Mastrantonio responded by heading in a ball off a corner just after half time to bring the game level. The home side scored again, but Tucson midfielder Louis Perez rocked one into the back of the net from outside the box to bring the game level once more.
In the dying minutes of the game, FC Tucson midfielder Elijah Wynder was brought down in the box and awarded a penalty. Daniel Bedoya stepped up and converted the kick in the 91st minute to give Tucson the win.

Chattanooga sits second in the league with 17 points (5-5-2). The club heads into the match coming off a 7-1 home victory against Charlotte Independence on June 22. The match has broken the record of the most goals scored in a single USL League One match.
FC Tucson has eight points (2-6-2) and is coming off a close 0-0 draw with sixth-place Central Valley Fuego FC. FC Tucson also announced last week the signings of Fernando Garcia and Donny Toia, increasing its offensive prowess.
